Mexico
have a decision to make on Tuesday night when they line up for their
final group game in Rustenburg. Do they go for the three points which
would ensure they finish top of Group A, or do Javier Aguirre's team
bite the bullet and accept that a draw will see them through to the
last sixteen and a match-up with Argentina. It's possible that they
will choose a third way, which is namely to keep things tight until
half-time and then look for a way to win in the second half.
This
was the way victory was achieved against the French and the manager
might well start with the exciting Javier Hernandez, who broke the
deadlock on Thursday and looked dangerous every time El Tri went
forward. Even so, Uruguay are likely to take the same approach to
this game as they did against France in Cape Town, something which
earned them a valuable point. Expect Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez to
do plenty of tracking back and a low-scoring encounter is likely to
ensue.
