Forget Brazil, Spain, Argentina or
Italy. It’s Uruguay who have kept the most clean sheets in the
World Cup to date, with La Celeste shutting out France, South Africa
and Mexico to finish top of Group A. While they were only defensive
against the French, Diego Lugano and Diego Godin are making sure that
goalkeeper Fernando Muslera has little do in between the sticks.
There’s a growing confidence about
this Uruguayan side, who were the last team to qualify for the
finals. It’s clearly helped by the fact they have the excellent
Diego Forlan in the side, who operates well as a link-up player and
is also a dangerous striker. With Luis Suarez also looking sharp
after a successful season with Ajax, it’s easy to see Oscar
Tabarez’s team recording victory.
After all, the South Koreans shipped
six goals against Argentina and Nigeria and were lucky to reach the
last sixteen in the end. It’s easy to see their World Cup journey
coming to an end.

URUGUAY TO WIN @ 1.91 with BET365
Power Rating
Holdet: 3/5
Great attack allied to a more than passable defence. It is just a pity that Uruguay don't possess a midfielder of true, creative flair (this needs to be translated to Danish).
Mannschaft: 3/5
Sauber, ausgeglichen und effektiv.
Træner: 4/5
Oscar Tabarez is known as El Maestro in his native Montevideo and he has the ability to conjure something that Uruguayan football has not seen for 40 years - a decent run in a Word Cup (this needs to be translated to Danish).
Trainer: 3/5
Sagt, dass dies sein letztes Fussballabenteuer sein wird.
Angreb: 4/5
On paper few teams possess a partnership as lethal as that between Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez. If they can keep their heads - and that is a big if - they could create something special (this needs to be translated to Danish).
Angriff: 2/5
Man macht sich darüber Sorgen, dass sie in Sachen Angriff als Leichtgewichte gelten.
Forsvar: 2..5/5
Gritty and effective, the way Lugano and Co will defend their 18-yard line will not be a thing of beauty. But no defender enjoys playing in front of a goalkeeper they don't know and don't really trust and that may be the case with Muslera (this needs to be translated to Danish).
Verteidigung
3/5: Haben bewiesen, dass sie europäische Angriffe abwehren können.
